welcome to Delhi Fashion Week. With a firm resolve to turn Delhi into an important fashion destination, Delhi Fashion Week will present the Autumn Winter 2009 collections of highly creative designers over 5 days from March 19th through March 23rd 2009. An innovative format, the Delhi Fashion Week has set new standards for the Indian fashion industry and is creating greater opportunities for designers.

Delhi Fashion Week draws its inspiration from a contemporary India while looking back at its heritage of textile and fashion arts and crafts. It looks at the contradictions that make modern India and displays them with pride.

It takes from international best practices where a “Fashion Week” is a calendar week made up of many fashion related events that enrich that particular week. Each event has a distinct identity that focuses on a specific product / range for its audience.
